It’s always nice to do timber frame joinery. This structure features multiple mortise and tenon joints. Our favorite to do would have to be the diminished haunch mortised from the tie beam to the posts, and the truss rafters to the king posts. Note the shouldered mortise pockets for the ridge to the king post and rafters to the ridge. We are keeping the ancient craft of timber framing alive here at Cedar & Stone!
